1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GenHorizon ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GenHorizon is an AI-powered platform that enables users to generate images, generate videos, remove watermarks, and edit images using artificial intelligence models. The Service operates on a token-based system with optional subscription plans.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must sign in using a supported OAuth provider (Google or GitHub). You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Tokens and Subscriptions

The Service uses a token system to access AI generation features:

• Free tier: New users receive 300 tokens as a one-time welcome bonus.
• Standard plan: ₩12,900/month — 3,000 tokens per month, 30-day result storage.
• Pro plan: ₩29,900/month — 7,000 tokens per month, unlimited storage, 30s/60s video access.
• Max plan: ₩59,900/month — 20,000 tokens per month, unlimited storage, all features.

Tokens are consumed upon initiating a generation request, regardless of whether the output meets your expectations. Unused monthly tokens do not carry over to the next billing period. Subscription payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

5. Payment and Billing

All payments are processed securely by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Paddle's terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
• Generate non-consensual intimate imagery or content involving minors
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in ways that exceed normal usage
• Resell or redistribute generated content for the purpose of competing with the Service
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these usage policies without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service. For AI-generated outputs, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use, share, and commercialize the generated content, subject to the underlying AI model's licensing terms. GenHorizon retains all rights to the platform, technology, and underlying infrastructure. You grant GenHorizon a limited license to process your inputs solely to provide the Service.

8. Data Storage and Retention

Generated content is stored according to your subscription plan: Standard plan users have results stored for 30 days; Pro and Max plan users have unlimited storage. Free tier outputs are not guaranteed to be stored. We reserve the right to delete stored content in accordance with these policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated results will meet your specific requirements. AI generation outputs are probabilistic and may vary.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GenHorizon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Korea.
