Refund Policy

1. Payment Processing

All payments for GenHorizon subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized Merchant of Record. When you purchase a subscription, your transaction is with Paddle, and your payment details are handled securely by Paddle in accordance with their terms of service and privacy policy. GenHorizon does not store your payment card information.

2. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
  • Any remaining tokens in your account will remain available until the subscription expires.
  • After expiration, your account will revert to the Free tier.

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

✓ Eligible for Refund

  • Requests made within 14 days of the initial subscription purchase, if you have used fewer than 100 tokens from the subscription.
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors caused by technical issues on our end.
  • Cases where the Service was unavailable for an extended period (more than 48 consecutive hours) due to our infrastructure failures.

✗ Not Eligible for Refund

  • Requests made after 14 days of purchase.
  • Subscriptions where more than 100 tokens have been consumed.
  • Renewal charges where the subscription was not cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated output quality, as AI results are inherently variable.
  • Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Token packs (one-time token purchases), which are non-refundable once tokens are issued.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us within the eligible period:

  1. Email support@genhorizon.ai with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your registered email address and the reason for your refund request.
  3. We will review your request within 3 business days.
  4. If approved, the refund will be processed by Paddle and typically appears within 5–10 business days depending on your payment method.

5. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Initiating an unwarranted chargeback may result in immediate account suspension. We work diligently to resolve disputes fairly and promptly.

6. Free Tier and Welcome Tokens

The 300 free welcome tokens granted upon account creation are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no monetary value. They are provided as a courtesy to allow users to trial the Service before purchasing a subscription.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
